The 10X Program is an inclusive initiative focused on accelerating the growth of women-led Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Uganda. Over a 1-year period, Mkazipreneur aims to digitally and economically empower 500 women-led MSMEs particularly bootstrappers and invisibles and support 2500 young women to access dignified work across Buikwe, Mukono, Kampala, and Wakiso districts. 3,000 women will be reached through targeted outreach, with a strong focus on inclusion ensuring at least 5% (150) of total beneficiaries are persons with disabilities and 3% (90) are refugees. The program will enhance livelihoods by improving access to digital finance, digital tools, and market opportunities, ultimately increasing the business efficiency, income, and resilience of women entrepreneurs. Mkazipreneur seeks to work with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and Youth Led Organizations (YLOs) as critical implementation partners to localize outreach and delivery in the target districts.
